These Terms of Service are a launch-ready draft for LocalBrag. They are not legal advice. Before publishing publicly, LocalBrag should replace placeholder business details with the correct legal entity and have counsel review the final version.
1. Overview
LocalBrag helps U.S. local service businesses prepare authentic project updates from real service photos, light project details, and Google Business Profile context. The service may include a marketing website, a logged-in dashboard, AI-assisted draft generation, project package creation, Google Business Profile publishing tools, review management tools, subscription management, and add-on project credits.
By accessing or using LocalBrag, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund/Cancellation Policy, and our Acceptable Use guidelines.
2. Accounts and access
You sign in to LocalBrag using Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activity that occurs through your LocalBrag workspace. You must provide accurate account, business, billing, and contact information.
LocalBrag creates a workspace for your business and uses your account, organization, billing, project, and Google Business Profile connection status to decide which dashboard features are available. Some settings and billing pages may remain available even when paid features are locked.
3. Google Business Profile
You may connect a Google Business Profile account so LocalBrag can help you select a location, prepare local post content, publish approved project updates, sync reviews, display review notifications, generate review links, and support review replies.
You must own or be authorized to manage each Google Business Profile location you connect. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any action LocalBrag takes on your behalf, including published posts and review replies. LocalBrag is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.
Your use of Google Business Profile through LocalBrag must also comply with the Google Business Profile terms, policies, and applicable Google API terms. Do not use LocalBrag to publish misleading business information, fake reviews, prohibited content, unauthorized review replies, or content that violates Google policies.
4. Project content and AI drafts
You keep ownership of photos, captions, project details, review replies, and other content that you submit. You grant LocalBrag permission to process, store, display, transform, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service.
AI drafts are suggestions only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your business. You are responsible for checking all project copy, service claims, locations, dates, photos, highlights, and Google Business Profile content before publishing or sharing.
LocalBrag is designed to reduce exposure of precise residential addresses in public copy, but you remain responsible for removing private information, customer names, license plates, addresses, faces, and other sensitive details that should not be published.
5. Billing, subscriptions, and project credits
Paid access is handled through Paddle, which may act as the Merchant of Record for LocalBrag purchases. Paddle may collect and process payment details, taxes, invoices, receipts, chargebacks, refunds, and payment compliance information.
LocalBrag may offer a monthly subscription, a one-time free trial for eligible first-time Google users, monthly included project credits, and separately purchased project credit packs. Trial eligibility, included credits, purchased credits, renewal dates, cancellation plans, and access status are calculated by the backend and displayed in the dashboard.
Creating a manual project package is the current credit consumption event. Credits are deducted first from included monthly quota and then from purchased credits. Purchased credits do not expire solely because a subscription is canceled, unless stated otherwise in a specific offer or required by law.
Cancellation and refund rules are explained in the Refund/Cancellation Policy. Unless required by Paddle or applicable law, consumed project credits and delivered digital services are not refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use LocalBrag for fake, deceptive, illegal, harmful, infringing, abusive, or privacy-invasive content. You may not upload content you are not authorized to share, attempt to manipulate Google rankings, create fake reviews, publish keyword-stuffed posts, or interfere with the security or reliability of LocalBrag or third-party services.
Additional rules are available in our Acceptable Use page. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend access, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or third-party platform requirements.
7. Availability and third-party services
LocalBrag depends on services operated by third parties, including Google, Paddle, infrastructure providers, AI providers, email providers, and hosting services. We do not control third-party platforms and are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, API limits, moderation decisions, or account restrictions.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as we improve LocalBrag, respond to platform requirements, manage security, or comply with law.
8. Termination
You may stop using LocalBrag at any time. You can disconnect Google Business Profile from the dashboard or through your Google account settings. Subscription cancellation is handled as described in the Refund/Cancellation Policy and may take effect at the end of the trial or current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for LocalBrag or third parties, fail to pay, misuse Google Business Profile tools, or use the service in a way that could harm customers, businesses, platforms, or the public.
9. Legal terms
LocalBrag is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalBrag will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or platform actions by Google or other third parties. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you paid for LocalBrag during the three months before the claim, unless applicable law requires a higher amount.
These Terms are intended for a U.S. business context. The governing law, venue, entity name, and dispute resolution details should be finalized when LocalBrag confirms its legal operating entity.
