This Refund/Cancellation Policy is a launch-ready draft. It should be reviewed by counsel and aligned with the final LocalBrag legal entity, Paddle configuration, and checkout disclosures before public launch.
1. Overview
LocalBrag may offer a monthly subscription, a one-time 15-day trial for eligible first-time users, included monthly project credits, and separately purchased project credit packs. This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law. If Paddle buyer terms, applicable law, or mandatory consumer protections give you greater rights, those rights apply.
2. Paddle relationship
Payments for LocalBrag may be processed by Paddle, which may act as the Merchant of Record for purchases. Paddle may handle taxes, payment processing, receipts, invoices, subscription billing, chargebacks, and refunds.
Paddle transaction records may be used to verify refund eligibility, billing dates, payment status, and subscription timing, but they do not override mandatory legal rights.
3. Trials and subscriptions
Eligible first-time Google users may be offered one 15-day LocalBrag trial when they start the monthly subscription flow. Trial eligibility is user-level and may not reset when you switch workspaces, create another Paddle customer, or create a new subscription ID.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription may renew as a paid monthly plan. The current LocalBrag Pro plan is presented as $19 per month with 25 included project credits per month, unless a different offer is shown at checkout.
4. Project credits
A project credit is consumed when you create a manual project package. Uploading photos, filling out details, or generating an AI draft does not currently consume a credit.
Separately purchased project credits do not expire solely because you cancel your subscription. Consumed credits, delivered project packages, and immediately available digital services are not refundable unless Paddle or applicable law requires otherwise.
5. How cancellation works
You can request subscription cancellation from the LocalBrag dashboard. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current trial or billing period. While the cancellation is scheduled but not yet effective, you may keep access to subscription features until the effective date, subject to these policies and payment status.
Once the cancellation takes effect, the subscription becomes canceled and cannot be reinstated. To use subscription features again, you must create a new subscription. A new subscription after cancellation does not create another 15-day trial.
6. Refunds
Unless required by applicable law or approved by Paddle, LocalBrag transactions are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable after the digital service or project credits are delivered or used. Paddle may approve statutory or discretionary refunds under its own refund policy.
To request a refund, use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle transaction confirmation email, use the support link in your account billing area when available, or contact Paddle buyer support. You may also contact LocalBrag support and we will help route the request.
If a refund is approved, access to the refunded product, subscription period, or credits may end, and related credits may be removed from your LocalBrag account.
7. Technical issues
If a persistent technical issue prevents you from accessing the LocalBrag features you paid for, contact us first at support@localbrag.app with the account email, affected workspace, transaction date, and a description of the issue. We will try to resolve the issue or provide information for your Paddle refund request.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact Paddle or LocalBrag support before starting a chargeback or payment dispute. If you initiate a chargeback, access to the relevant subscription, product, or credits may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
